Last year, machine artist Nils Völker teamed up with brother and graphic designer Sven Völker to turn an old school gym into a giant art installation. You may already know that I’m a huge fan of Nils Völker’s work and each installation seems to top the next.

Captured, an Homage to Light and Air, is a 12-minute interplay of two site specific installations: 304 framed graphic pieces hanging on the walls surround a field of 252 custom-made inflatable silver air bags. The performance tickles the senses of sight, sound and vision.
Captured was created in collaboration with MADE Space in Berlin.
