CARIUMA Releases Pantone Color of the Year 2021 Sneakers

With last month’s announcement of the new Pantone Color of the Year 2021, Brazilian shoe company CARIUMA expanded their Pantone sneaker offerings to include the new color, or in this year’s pick, two colors: PANTONE 17-5104 Ultimate Gray and PANTONE 13-0647 Illuminating. After the turmoil of 2020, Pantone selected two colors, a cheery yellow and a neutral gray, in hopes of offering hope and stability. Now, CARIUMA has released limited edition sneakers in both colors in their OCA Low style, so you can adorn your feet with those positive feelings and have them with you every time you wear them. As with their previous Pantone collection in five colorways and the Pantone Color of the Year 2020 Classic Blue editions (Men’s Classic Blue and Women’s Classic Blue), the sneakers are 100% vegan and handcrafted with GOTS-certified organic cotton canvas.

CARIUMA goes beyond making vegan and eco-friendly sneakers – they also give back to the environment by planting a pair of trees in the Brazilian Rainforest for every pair of sneakers purchased!

The sneakers feature a recycled rubber outsole and plant-based memory foam insoles for added comfort.

The CARIUMA x Pantone Color of the Year 2021 sneakers are currently available for pre-order here: Men’s Illuminating Yellow, Women’s Illuminating Yellow, Men’s Ultimate Gray, and Women’s Ultimate Gray. For the rest of the CARIUMA x Pantone sneakers, head here!
