The Carton Furniture Series was originally designed in 1965 by Riki Watanabe and has been reproduced by Metropolitan Gallery in Tokyo. The Kids’ Set is made completely out of folded cardboard with no adhesives, nails, or screws. The stools are strong enough for the weight of most adults and all pieces are recyclable.

Cardboard furniture could help with cleaning up the environment because the materials could replace pollutants. Are safer for children and stimulate creativity. Thanks for the post.

This is very cute and smart for the kids. Fantastic how their brain picks up things and they can learn great skills playing with this furniture set.

I guess the stools are made only for kids, big ones might not able to handle the weight.
