Looking to the future, Lucas y Hernández-Gil designed a restaurant and cocktail bar in the city center of Seville, Spain, combining bold, colorful furniture with a concrete-like backdrop. CASAPLATA avoids nostalgia to set itself apart from the surrounding eating establishments making its mark in the historic area.
The Spanish architecture firm referenced the still life paintings of Giorgio Morandi where strong colors pop against a silver gray background. The industrial concrete surroundings set the stage for the colorful furnishings and food for a futuristic and enjoyable experience.

I love this color palette. The bright hues against the neutralness of the concrete. Very nice!

Great article about Casaplata, I absolutely love the interior design of this café. Love the pink pastel. Definitely have to go there when I’ll go to Seville. If you like design cafés, you should check out The Budapest Café which has an amazing design as well. You would love it. I wrote an article about it if you are interested in finding out more about it (https://designhunger.co/blog/interiordesign/biasol/budapestcafe)
Have a good day!
