The Chapel in St. Maria da Feira, located in Portugal, was designed by e|348 Arquitectura. I love this building so much I have little words. The stairs are amazing. The contrast, the minimalism, the elegance.

OMG & LOL…The anti spam password set up to leave a comment is getting more and more complex and difficult. Having a bit of trouble seeing the words I decided to try the audio interpretation….it was like a scene from The Exorcist!! Spooky mutterings and electronic voices – it was more baffling than the printed letters.
And now I’ve forgotten my original comment!

i love the window placements .. reminds me of Steven Holl’s Nail Collector’s House.
imagine the natural lighting in Sunday services and the ray of lights passing through the Cross.
