Abstract Paintings by Beth Hoeckel

This week’s CMYLK artist is Beth Hoeckel, who works in paint, collage, mixed media, and photography in Baltimore City. After earning a B.F.A.from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago,where she studied painting, photography, and printmaking, she spent time abroad, two years in New York City, and four in Los Angeles. The colorful works on black backgrounds featured here are done in paint on wood panel. Matching them with Colourlovers palettes was a delight.
