Interiors by Andra Birkerts

This week’s CMYLK looks at the rooms of Boston area interior designer Andra Birkerts (with whom I’ve collaborated many times on stories for the Boston Globe Magazine). Birkerts can always be counted on to have color in her environments, perhaps because she has an MFA in Painting. In fact, she founded her firm back in 1992 primarily as a color consultancy. Always tasteful, but plenty prominent, her color-punctuated spaces are sophisticated and fresh, serving design-conscious New Englanders well. Let’s see how her room’s schemes translate into Colourlovers‘ palettes.
