Blå Station selected Thomas Bernstrand and Stefan Borselius to work on a collaboration that also brought in Johan Lindau, and the result is the Honken Workstation and ottoman. The design brings together everything you might need to get your work done—a comfortable seat, tabletop, storage, ottoman, and an electrical outlet—into one successful workstation.
The generous, oversized seat is made from durable steel with solid oak legs. You can also get it with high or low back cushions or none at all. On top of that, you can choose from the different accessories to make productivity easier—table, storage, outlets, ottoman, etc.

Yes, it looks lovely and gets some column inches, but as a “workstation” is completely impractical and potentially harmful. It lacks even basic support for back or neck, while the positioning of the desk appears to be far too close to the seated.
So yes, lovely design study, but as anything more than an occasional “gimmick” seat surely this is resigned to the “what was I thinking” shelf?
