Console Cabinet by Von Tundra

This Console Cabinet by Portland, Oregon-based design house Von Tundra is constructed from slats of mill end lumber or reclaimed pallet wood. The process emerged out of necessity to work within the tight budgets of younger clients, but still deliver a piece of quality workmanship to be handed down through generations. It is currently available in domestic walnut, fir, and reclaimed pallet wood, in limited production numbers.

Von Tundra specializes in contemporary furniture, fixtures, installations, and interiors. Since 2007, its three members — Dan Anderson, Chris Held, and Brian Pietrowski — have honed an aesthetic vision that unites modernist lines with the warmth of familiar materials and handcrafted integrity. As both a licensed company and an artist collective, Von Tundra has the ability to engage a variety of activities, from client-inspired projects to conceptually focused gallery exhibitions.
