Newly emerging Australian designer Brendan Jurich created Interior, a timeless credenza made from American black walnut and Victorian ash wood. With Interior, Jurich examines the notion of furniture as a container, which often leaves the interior undiscovered. He believes that by thinking of it this way, a piece loses meaning once it’s filled. Instead, Jurich aims to create a greater spatial presence with this credenza, which has an interior that’s meant to be pondered over and through.
