In 2012, designer Dan Maddox and Alan Rauta took a chance and launched luxury furniture company Cromatti. With an aim to create furniture with the kick of modern art-inspired metallics and the sleek sophistication of luxury cars, this new brand conceives minimalist furnishings that aren’t understated.
Exclusively designed and handmade in Los Angeles, California, Cromatti prides itself on creating sophisticated and quality furniture with a wide range of customizable options. The team spent three years developing mathematically-integrated pieces that allow you to customize the color, fabric, and surface.
The tables, benches and stools are made of 16 gauge steel that goes through a strict process of finishing techniques and powder coating, Maharam’s Sudden line of high-quality fabrics, Wipelli leather from Italy, and thick glass surfaces with as little as 10% of the iron content of regular glass, which eliminates the greening effect typically associated with thick glass panels.
