Design Milk is once again partnering with WantedDesign to sponsor the 2021 Launch Pad competition, alongside sponsor American Standard! The exciting event will unfold on November 14-15, 2021 at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) at the Javits Center. In case you haven’t submitted your entry, the deadline has been extended to August 15th. This is a unique opportunity for US and international designers to present their prototypes and concepts to an esteemed panel of jurors, get valuable feedback, and find a manufacturer for their products. Like previous years, there will be a winner for two categories: Furniture/Interiors and Lighting. The jury panel will be lead by our very own Jaime Derringer, founder of Design Milk, alongside industry leaders and experts. For Lighting, the panel includes Shant Madjarian of Juniper, Rosie Li of Rosie Li Studio, and Anishka Clark of ISHKADESIGNS. For Furniture/Interiors, the panel includes Guilio Cappellini of Cappellini, Riccardo Conti of Fantini, Crystal Ellis of Egg Collective, and Andrea Cesarman of Design Week Mexico. Jean-Jacques L’hénaff, LIXIL Global Design, AMERICAS will join both juries.
