Designer Lorenzo Martone began a lifelong obsession with bicycles when he received his very first one at Christmas in 1985. Thanks to Santa, that day was permanently etched into his brain and so was the love of his first bike he called “Fina” (Portuguese for skinny). 28 years later, Martone Cycling Co. was born as a fashion and design driven bike company with city bikes that make a bold statement.
The first collection has been released, each with a signature red chain and basket – one style, available in a men’s or women’s frame, and each comes in five colors: red, gold, white, silver, and black.
The bike isn’t all about looks, though. Each bike is powered by their innovate duomatic gear system which adjusts automatically and changes gears based on the speed you’re cruising at.
PadHome launched the new brand in London at Home this month.
