Desktop Wallpaper: December 2019

Can you believe we’ve reached the last month of the year? Rounding out our 2019 year of Designer Desktops, we’re sharing Austin-based designer Alyson Fox’s latest wallpaper collaboration with Hawkins New York.

A first for Hawkins New York, this wallpaper collection consists of six wallpaper patterns, each available in three color ways that speak to their own visual story – light and airy, natural and earthy, dramatic and moody. The wallpapers undergo old-fashioned screen- and surface-printing processes to achieve a tactile, dimensional finished products that are variably unique in each roll.  Alyson’s eye for uncommon shapes and patterns lead to a wallpaper collection that is inherently whimsical yet modern, adaptable to both minimalist spaces or dramatic Neoclassical homes.

Alyson paired her Almost Shapes pattern with a cool Sol Lewitt quote – “Don’t worry about cool, make your own uncool.” – and now you can download the wallpapers for your tech devices below!
