With their first collaboration a raging success that sold out within an hour, Dims. and Dusen Dusen have joined forces again. This go around, Ellen Van Dusen reimagined Dims.’ Cleo Chair and Eave Desk as the limited-edition Ogle My Office collection. This collaboration is even brighter than the first, as the two rethought how to make working from home more fun and creative. Dusen Dusen’s goal was to make both furniture pieces more playful, while also designing a functional, inspirational place for work.
“I was really excited when Dims reached out again about creating the ‘Ogle my Office’ collection,” said Ellen Van Dusen, founder of Dusen Dusen. “I love the original design of both the Cleo Chair and the Eave Desk, so I was honored to be able to put another new spin on the collection.”
The Cleo Chair was originally designed by Dims. as another collaboration, this time with Stine Aas. It’s solid and stackable, with Dusen’s take building upon the Ash wood version. The color-blocked hues – red, blue-gray, lavender, jade, warm-white, and chartreuse – invite you to sit down and use it. While not the focal point, Dusen says that chartreuse is the heart of both pieces. In fact, the other colors chosen were added to make it shine. Dusen remained true to the Cleo Chair’s design, making its strong, simple, and elevated profile even bolder.
The second remixed piece is the Eave Desk, originally designed by MSDS Studio. Seen as a companion to the Cleo Chair, the same color-blocked colorway is used for an equally pleasing visual that doesn’t stray from the original. A reflection of MSDS Studio’s Scandinavian and Japanese influences, the dual-purpose ‘table desk’ is minimal yet distinctive – great for work time and meal time.
Both the Cleo Chair and the Eave Desk are made of FSC-certified wood in the USA by talented craftspeople.
