San Francisco-based artist and illustrator Ben Walker recently completed an utterly charming series of pooches driving cars — and not just any type of car, old beat-up jalopies! These hand-drawn illustrations are inspired by the dogs in Ben’s Nob Hill neighborhood. Created with ink on clayboard, the Doggies in Jalopies series recently showed at San Francisco’s 111 Minna Gallery.
