The Donation by Design collection is a new project from the fine folks at blanketID. It’s a simple but brilliant idea: There are a lot of animal-loving, creative people out there who would love to help and use their talents for the greater good. So, blanketID asked them to create a design for a tag and donate it, along with a choice of charity that’s close to their heart.
BlanketID puts their design into production, offering the tag for sale at blanketID.com where a full $5 from each sale is passed directly to the designer’s charity of choice. On top of that, a portion of any memberships purchased along with that tag are also donated. How awesome is that??
At the moment, they’ve teamed up with three designers: Lili Chin, Fiona Richards from Cartolina, and Christine Martinez (one of our favorite ladies around — although we might be a bit biased). You can check out their designs and learn more about the charities they chose on blanketID.com.
