The latest in our partnership with design brand OTHR? The hyper-geometric Carlo Bookend: a 3D Printed Porcelain object created in collaboration with award-winning designer Ini Archibong.
The bookend is a playful take on the various scales of design experience; while it is a “tabletop” item, its form references the monolithic nature of large-scale architecture. Its shape is inspired by the building elements and aesthetic features of legendary architect Carlo Scarpa.
The Carlo Bookend comes in gloss white, and is available individually or as a set of two.
Earlier this year, Archibong debuted a furniture collection at Salone del Mobile 2016 created in collaboration with actor Terry Crews. He has worked and studied in New York, Singapore, and Lausanne. Though he currently resides in Basel, Switzerland, he attributes his expressive design to his LA upbringing.
