Bangkok-based studio Femme Atelier was recently founded by Mew Kamonwan and Lalita Kitchachanchaikul as a way to experiment and reimagine everyday objects. They just launched the Framemust collection of tables and stools that utilize traditional door and window frames but in a whole new way.
Framemust comprises two tables and two stools constructed from extruded aluminum profiles which make up the bases. Just like a window or door, a panel of glass, or in this case acrylic, rests inside each frame and is finished off with gradient colors by way of UV printing. The aluminum components received powdered coated finishes to complete the colorful collection.
