Helsinki-born, London-based designer Kirsi Enkovaara sought out to explore the psychology of sitting when working on her final project while attending the Royal College of Art. Whether laying down or sitting, we’re in a much more relaxed state than we are standing, so when creating The Body, Enkovaara wanted the seat to become a place of safety to provide comfort. It encourages the user to find the most comfortable way of sitting and to do away with the cultural norms of sitting up straight.
The moldable structure is made from a piece of canvas fabric that’s 6 meters long and filled with rice. With the help of the rice, the structure bends and folds into various configurations and forms letting you decide what is the most comfortable for you and your body.

Some of those positions look a little uncomfortable, but I suppose this ‘chair’ will allow you to express your creativity. Great idea :)
