A Floor Lamp That Turns into a Side Table

Designer Yu Ito created a floor lamp that easily turns into a side table. Impila, designed for Formabilio, is perfect for smaller rooms since the lamp pulls double duty. If you need a place to set your drink or a book, simply raise each plate to the desired height and tighten the fastener so they stay in put. Only need a little table space? Just raise one plate. Need more? Raise both plates.

The pole and table plates are made from ash wood and the lampshade is finished with a stretchy knit. To add some color, the base plate is a bright yellow, while the two table plates are a light grey and white.
