When you think of steel, you think of its hard, rigid strength, right? Well nendo, designed a furniture collection made out of said steel with design features that include bends, curves, and wraps, giving the impression that the material is soft and flexible. softer than steel was designed for Italian company Desalto, who are known for their metal furniture, and the collection includes three benches, a chair, a coat stand, small tables, and some shelves, each with a detail that seems impossible with steel. That new detail then added a new functionality to the piece.
