Studio Segers recently finished up this M² bench, which has gone into production by WoltersMABEG and Urbastyle. The goal of this design is to reclaim public spaces as safe meeting places and encourage gathering and conversation. Each M² consists of a shell-formed concrete seat, reinforced with optic fiber, supported by a steel under-frame. They’re also working on wooden seat versions, too.
