Giopato & Coombes Designs Mobile-Like Chandelier Called Dewdrops

Italian studio Giopato & Coombes recently presented their 5th lighting design at this year’s Maison & Objet in Paris. Dewdrops is a sculptural chandelier that resembles a mobile with glass spheres suspended from brass arms. The handblown glass “blossoms” emit light through their transparent globes resulting in an ethereal sculpture. The fixture mimics dewdrops resting on blades of grass glowing under the light of the moon, inspired by a summer walk the designers had taken.

Dewdrops is available in two versions – one with 5 glass drops and one with 7 glass drops – each made from transparent borosilicate glass and turned brass.
