Half Nelson Lamp

An exclusive release from Modernica, the Half-Nelson Lamp is a magnum opus from the innovative George Nelson Office, circa 1950.

Originally made for a large-scale design project, the Holiday House, the lamp had always been a prototype until 1977 when Koch & Lowy, an American lighting company, put it into production until the mid-80s. Now, it’s back and it can be yours. Composed of a cylinder, a rod, and discus, the Half-Nelson Lamp is made of black powder-coated aluminum with a stem of chromed aluminum. The underside of the pivoting disc is white.
