Influenced by the timeless Modernist furniture designs of Marcel Breuer, Charlotte Perriand and Jean Prouvé, the Henry armchair boils down to the basic elements. Designed by Harris & Harris, and named after a London street they used to live on, Henry features a light tubular steel frame with a single piece upholstered seat and backrest. A headrest hangs from two leather straps, with flexible leather also creating the armrests. With both residential and commercial use in mind, this armchair would work particularly well in living areas, libraries, lounges and breakout spaces.
Henry is completely handmade in England with your choice of finish on the steel frame: natural brushed, natural polished or metallic gold powder coat. The leather straps are natural cowhide, and available in a selection of sustainable 100% vegetable-tanned colors. The upholstery is designed to be created with the customer’s own material, so you can really add a personalized touch to your Henry armchair.
For every sale Harris & Harris makes a contribution to their Designed For Life Foundation, which helps support charities providing for those without the basic needs of food, water and shelter. To learn more about the Henry armchair, visit harrisharrislondon.co.uk.
