The Hood modular lamp, designed by Form Us With Love for ateljé Lyktan, makes a bold statement with the large petal-like pieces it’s made from. The design conquers the desire to concentrate light onto a specific area in hopes of shutting distractions out. It’s also customizable to any size work, conference, or dining table you hang it over.
Made of compressed industrial felt modules, you can build the Hood unit to your desired size starting with the basic corner panels.
With communal areas often times being open and bare, Hood acts almost like an emotional shelter or a protective shield. It also becomes a piece of furniture in whatever room it’s hung in because of its size and the material used.
