Interior architect Indre Sunklodiene, of Interjero Architektė (InArch), was tasked with designing the interior of the 250-square-meter (2690-square-foot) Namas Pušyne house in Lithuania for a young family of three. The clients asked for a modern interior with a cozy, Scandinavian feel and the result is just that with warm wood, grey, and black accents.
Wooden slats run vertically up the focal wall and continue onto the ceiling creating a cozy place to relax and watch TV. A U-shaped grey sofa is accented with mustard colored pillows.
The seating area off of the living room has a wall of wood shelves with a contrasting dark color painted behind it.
Mustard continues as an accent color in the dining room with a pendant light and a chair.
In the master bedroom, wood covers the wall behind the bed creating a more dramatic headboard than the one on the bed.
