Cork iPad Case by pomm

The Portuguese design studio pomm has come up with a rather unique iPad case. It’s not made of the typical plastic or foam-y kind of material – it’s made entirely of cork. The iPadCorkCase is a sturdy slip-in case with a faceted exterior that gives it a modern, geometric look.

Cork was chosen for its durable, ecological, and biodegradable properties, as well as the fact that it’s water-resistant and an excellent shock absorber.

pomm will produce only 4000 units for the iPad 3 and it should be available to ship in November 2012.
