Karhu Unveils Limited Edition Version of Artek’s Stool 60

Eighty-five years later, Artek’s Stool 60 remains one of the Finnish brand’s most popular designs and during that time they’ve released new versions and allowed designers to create special editions. The latest comes from a less obvious choice, a Finnish sneaker brand named Karhu, who reimagined the iconic design to celebrate its history of creating footwear with bold colorways.

Karhu’s limited edition design was inspired by their recognizable black and orange color combination. A smooth black leather seat is held up by three legs, one orange and two natural birch, resulting in a playful and unexpected design.

Only 80 of Karhu’s Stool 60 will be made and available for sale starting tomorrow at Seattle retailer Likelihood, the Karhu Concept Store in Helsinki, and on their website.
