Knoll designer Karen Stone created the collection and says:

Knoll has a tradition of experimenting with new materials and product categories, beginning with Florence Knoll’s unexpected use of simple menswear textiles in the 1940s. The new tote and travel bag designs are pared down in the modern tradition, yet extremely tactile and functional.
