For the design-conscious dog owner, it can be tough to find indoor crates and dog houses that actually look good and, you know, complement your existing furnishings. (Heck, that’s why we started this blog to begin with — to sniff out the best in modern dog goodies!) So, when an email submission for the Kooldog dog house came across my desk, I got pretty excited. This! This is what so many modern dog owners are looking for!
The Kooldog dog house is the brainchild of Canadian designer Ki Park and is currently in the middle of a crowd funding campaign on Kickstarter. The minimalist design features solid metal construction, powder coated paint, interchangeable front panels in your choice of three laminate wood grains, and a machine-washable Crypton fabric bed.
At the moment, the Kooldog is only available in one size designed to accommodate most dogs under 30 pounds. If your dog fits the bill, you’ll definitely want to get in on the Kickstarter campaign for the early bird discount: funders can receive up to $500 off the (future) retail price!
