Following the heels of a successful magazine rack, Lobo Marinho Studio has collaborated with Monocle for a 5th time to release the new limited edition Porto Side Table. Named for the city designer André Marinho calls home, the easily assembled table is handcrafted in Portugal in a limited run of just 52 pieces that are sold exclusively through Monocle’s online shop and retails stores in London, Zurich, Merano, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Los Angeles, and Toronto.

Oak and walnut, U-shaped slatted legs are held together and perfectly spaced with matte varnished stainless steel tubes. The open design feels airy and light, yet stable, offering your magazines, books, blankets, and snacks a comfortable spot to call home. A detachable tray enhances the tabletop surface which can be used to hold a drink, lamp, or a game of chess

The lightweight Porto Side Table is packed flat in a cardboard box sized to fit a typical XL pizza, making it a practical design to ship worldwide. It’s designed to be assembled easily with just an Allen key (included).
