For the launch of Samsung’s new interactive Smart TV with Smart Interaction, Smart Content and Smart Evolution, they’ve cooked up a kooky commercial that is full of cheese: a bunch of dorky dudes mistakenly think beautiful woman (in this case me in my pajamas – OK – it’s really it’s a model) is beckoning them, then they race and fight for her affection only to find out she wasn’t flirting with any of them, after all. See if you can spot some famous faces in the commercial:

Even though we just bought a Samsung Smart TV barely two years ago, the idea of using my hand to turn the volume down or change channels is enticing. Plus, you have to see how thin this thing is…

A bunch of dorky dudes… including the former Old Spice guy, Isiah Mustafah!

OK so he’s not all that dorky. I’d let him in to eat pizza and watch TV any time. ;)

What a piece of moronic, sexist shit. How you can think this pathetic Benny Hill shtick is cool in this day and age, is beyond me. How juvenile men are. Now surprise that it’s produced by Samsung Italia.

Thats the beauty of it, first it has you thinking how dumb, moronic and stupid lame brained men are, and then it shows you a potentially smarter way to change a channel. But seriously its rife with stereotypes and if it was not it would be really off key. I mean really, how DO you make a commercial of someone demonstrating how to change a channel with hand movements? Film a guy on couch waving at a tv set and-,…

Wow, I want this TV so much now that I’ve seen a pretty woman with inexplicably short pants using it! I’m even willing to look past the fact that this ad in no way explains to me what use this TV would be, because of how I desperately want to buy every product conventionally attractive women use.

Samsung TVs are excellent in many ways. I have been using one of them for more than 3 years, even though it is in my backyard.
