Lucky Number 7: Dottie's Adoption Day Wishlist

Our rough-and-tumble gal Dottie turns (unbelievably!) seven years old this year. Since we don’t know exactly when she was born, we celebrate Adoption Days – and Dottie’s is coming up this weekend! She’s put together a wishlist of seven great gift ideas, one for each of her silly, sweet years. Check out her picks below!

Dottie has an innate talent for getting dirty – like, really dirty – so this waterproof, stink-proof collar from Dublin Dog is perfect for her.

We call her our little piggy because she looks so much like one – she’s only missing the curly tail. Dottie would love to curl up on the Piggies dog bed duvet from Molly Mutt.

OK, so maybe I want this more than Dottie does – the gorgeous concrete Trogolo bowl from MiaCara.

Let’s be honest – food is basically Dottie’s reason for living, and in reality her entire wishlist would consist of treats. She’s settled on these peanut butter and country bacon biscuits in cute tins from Harry Barker.

Dottie reviewed the ThunderToy calming toy a few weeks back, and she’s a big fan. She’d definitely want to have another on hand in case hers ever gets lost or worn out.

Dottie’s days consist mainly of sacking out on the couch, interspersed with vocal outbursts at feline intruders and the FedEx guy. This little pillow from See Scout Sleep is perfect for resting her big ol’ head.

Finally, Dottie’s almost seven, but she’s still trying to master the art of fetching. These rubber stick toss-n-chew toys from Mungo & Maud are perfect for practicing her retrieving skills.

Katherine, who lives with her family in the mountains of North Carolina, curated her own dog blog for a couple of years before joining the Design Milk team. If she ever won the lottery, she’d most definitely spend it all on live music & airfare to New York City. Other interests include craft beer, banjos, books, & BBQ.
