Man Meets Nature in the Box XL Houses

The Box XL Houses are a development of seven houses arranged in a way that aims to create balance between what’s manmade and what already exists in nature, a dialogue between the mass of what’s been created and the void of open space.

Architect firm Grupo Zegnea designed the houses to be functional, placing the garage, entrance, and storage area on the lower level that can be accessed from a private road. The practicality continues with the construction materials and options chosen for both in the interior and exterior spaces. Internally they contribute to the flow of the layout, while externally the raw materials used sync with the green spaces and elements the project is surrounded by, continuing to create a harmonious feel.
