Built overlooking a lake in Finland, this Micro Cabin, nicknamed “Nido,” was designed and built by Robin Falck to enjoy once out of the military. It took a while to design and Falck consulted with a couple of architects to get everything right, but the results are phenomenal.
Finland has regulations that restrict cabins and small houses from being larger than 96-128 square feet if they are being built without a permit. Falck was able to build a 96-square-foot cabin with a 50-square-foot loft space that houses the bed and stores clothing. Using mostly recycled materials, the entire cabin was built for around $10,500 plus the labor. Amazing!

Wow! Very intelligent design. Is the cabin available to the public? Would love to spend a night there

Is it off the grid? Electricity? Sauna?

Totally perfect!
Do you take orders from Greece? I need a 115-square-feet cabin for Anna & myself. Is it portable? Sauna expansion available??
Thanks :)

I like this little cabin, wish I have the founds needed to pay somebody to build me one like this.I wonder if ”Nido” it’s portable,to be able to take it with you whatever where you go,specially when you go camping in the woods. It it portable?.If I would have possibility to have somebody to build this cabin for me,after beeing build I would add some more cool stuffs to the cabin,to make it look even cooler than this, don’t get me wrong!,I am not saying that the cabin doesn’t look cool,it looks so cool and so awesome, but with some more things added to it,it would look super awesome.I love to decorate rooms and building interiors,I could be an awesome interior designer, because I have the passion for that, and my own unique decorating style, and my dream is to be an interior designer, but unfortunatelly I can’t fullfill my dream, bacause of the financiar matters.
