French design house Pygmalion Studio has your fine feathered friends covered with their project Mikko. Mikko is a series of ceramic and wood birdhouses and bird feeders that can adapt to any variety of tree thanks to an elastic strap. The strap stretches around any size tree making placement possible just about anywhere.
Mikko can stay put for the long haul, as the elastic will let the tree grow as it ages. Strap it on and watch the birds flock to their new home.

I love that the elastic grows with the tree. That’s clever :) Love quirky birdhouses that are handmade.
I remember making them from milk cartons in school and painting them and hanging them outside the window. Never lasted very long though!
Here’s some more on etsy that are handmade and hand painted –
