A Milk Carton Inspired Birdhouse by Jam Furniture

Yes, we’re partial to all things milk carton related but we’re pretty sure everyone’s going to love this milk carton inspired Birdhouse by Jam Furniture.

Gathering ply off-cuts from local businesses and steel that’s recycled from discarded washing machines and dishwashers, these birdhouses are truly a sustainable product. The wood would just end up in the scrap bin but instead it becomes part of the structure. The steel is trimmed and bent into shape before coating it with a tough satin white paint that can last in harsh climates. The solid brass perch is hand machined with a knurled finish so the birds have something to grip.
