This home, built for an eye surgeon by MA Architecture, is certainly eye-opening. The design was created to express the mechanisms and anatomy of an eye. A four-story oculus is in the center of the plan (as the core), and light-regulating devices from movable screens refer light to the ocular core. The construction of the home is eco-conscious, using recycled steel, concrete, geothermal heating, and high-efficiency glass.
