Mounted Shelves that Explore Geometry
View Slideshow

British design house Kukka released a new series of geometric wares in bold splashes of color. Ridges, which includes wall-mounted shelves and matching trays, explores metal as a material and all the things you can do with it when using metal folding technology.

Available in landscape or portrait, the shelves feature folds that provide openings to store stuff, while also letting you hang things up due to its magnetic nature. The powder coated shelves come with different colors on each side – sulfur yellow and pure white. Each shelf comes with a tray.

The triangular metal trays are made from offcuts created from the making of the shelves, thereby reducing waste. Once they’re cut, the sides are folded up and they’re powder coated on both sides – signal blue and dark blue, or tomato red and wine red. Each shelf comes with a tray, as they’re sold as a set.
