The Napal DAL Sound and Lighting System

Sharing a design evocative of one of cinema’s greatest scenes, the DAL’s four spoke, 15.7-inch wide ring proposes more earthly functions within the home – a modern LED chandelier equipped with an integrated wireless speaker intended to “shower” those situated underneath its diameter in both light and sound.

The DAL 2-piece design is an example of an efficient use of space; within its 2.3-inch wide cylindrical column lives a Bluetooth-equipped 10W speaker with its own passive radiator, attached to an anodized aluminum unibody 15.7-inch wide ring equipped with an array of adjustable 15 watt LED lights.

Alongside being dimmable, the temperature of lighting can be customized from a daylight bright 5700K down to a relaxing and warm 2200K. The DAL is also designed to work both as a pendant-chandelier and also in a 72-inch tall floor lamp option, noting the design’s minimalist profile seems most optimal hanging from the ceiling rather than position atop a stand.

The 2-inch driver and 2.5-inch passive radiator isn’t going to fill a room with sound, but the DAL is intentionally designed to operate as an atmospheric speaker system within an intimate perimeter.

Available in both White and Titan Black, the DAL is currently seeking funding for manufacturing, and available for pre-sale over at Kickstarter for $349, with an estimated delivery date of October 2019.

A 3-button Bluetooth equipped remote offers a simplified control, with power, light, and Bluetooth controls available. An additional on/off wall switch is paired with the pendant, while a floor foot switch offers tactile controls for the floor lamp edition.
