I’m a big jewelry nerd so when I spotted Neclumi (thanks to Gregory!) I fell in love. Could it be the future of jewelry? I’m not sure… but I’m excited to see where it goes.
Created by the people at Pangenerator, Neclumi is a projected, interactive necklace. Watch it in action:
At the moment, Neclumi is set up using a custom app on iPhone and a picoprojector connected via HDMI cable and attached to the wearer’s chest, but could soon become more integrated as technology and wearables advance.

Your heading of this post should read: “This is the future of jewelery.”

I think it’s a really cool idea, but I’m not sure if it’s that practical!

Beautiful and definitely art, but not practical or realistic at all. It appears that it can only be worn/seen in dim lighting and clothing and hairstyle would factor in as well.
