Gus* Design Group has announced that they are now manufacturing all upholstered seating with FSC-certified wood, sourced from responsibly managed forests. Go, Gus, Go!
Among the new 100% FSC-certified designs to be introduced at the High Point Furniture Fair is the GT Rocker, a modern rocking chair with a sleek, black metal base, and architecturally-styled cushions inspired by 70s car interiors.
More new pieces include the Richmond Sofa, Richmond Chair, and Truss Chair. The Truss is a mid-century inspired accent chair with a solid natural oak frame that features finger joint construction. The Ossington Coffee Table (and end table) are made of walnut ply and stainless steel or black powder-coated base.

hmm made in China and eco friendly? doubt it.
Not very eco friendly to haul a container from China to Canada and then to ship out to stores??

I love the table, it’s functional and light to the eyes as well, so it doesn’t look like it’s taking too much space even though it’s offering storage space
