That may sound a little strange, but a common problem with pencils is that it’s hard to use a pencil completely, down to the very nub. Akio Hayakawa solves that problem with Easy Pencil, which has a shorter lead core.
This means you can ‘finish’ a whole pencil, and it doesn’t require any manufacturing or technological changes in its creation. Therefore, no lead is wasted.
