A One-of-a-Kind Hotel Room at Volkshotel Amsterdam

Amsterdam-based Volkshotel doesn’t go about room design the standard hotel way where every room looks the same. They have a series of special rooms that were each designed by a different designer or design team. Take a look at Edmund, a one-of-a-kind room designed as a collaboration between Jos Blom and Jasper Eustace.

Built in the middle of the room is a mountain-inspired structure that houses the room’s functionality. The bed is nestled into a corner within a hollow bay, while the bathtub is on the top of the mountain next to a cactus garden. Around the other side is where you can shower under a waterfall.

Built-in stairs lead to the top of the “mountain” where you can enjoy a bath.
