Panel Is Capdell’s Comfortable, Light Lounge Chair

Winner of the Design Guild Mark award, Capdell’s Panel lounge chair—designed by Lucy Kurrein—brings together innovative form and comfort. Made from steel sheet and either tailored wool or leather, the chair provides extra comfort thanks to its contoured shape.

The chair’s hollow design shows exposed edges and is lighter than a typical piece of upholstered furniture.

Panel illustrates Kurrein’s philosophy of melding industrial qualities with warmth, creating a piece that people will actually enjoy sitting on. Its creative design also won Kurrein the Homes & Gardens magazine’s Young Designer of the Year Award.
