January is National Train Your Dog Month and, although it’s nearly February, it’s not too late to step up your training game. In fact, it’s something we should all be working on every day! To help make things easier, Maggie Martin together with dog training veteran Denise Herman, recently launched an interactive book for iPad and iPhone: Positively Dog Training: The Better Path to a Well-Behaved Pup.

As someone who is extremely visually oriented, one of the first things I noticed (and loved) about Positively Dog Training are the fantastic illustrations and overall design. Beyond that, though, the app features 38 HD clicker-training-style video tutorials and dozens of step-by-step instructions for canine skills and tricks, including potty training, noise control, nutrition, and exercise. There is also a quick-reference glossary and a buying guide full of the best in dog gear!

P.S. They also sell t-shirts featuring some of the artwork from the app — see below. I might need to order one!

Capree has a deep love of Victorian-era “fancy lads”, 19th Century anatomy drawings, and tin robots. She loves big, bold colors and big, bold patterns. Oh, and anything well-designed, especially if it’s something she can sit in.
