The Prism Table is an interesting table by Maurie Novak that unites design with art.
The stainless steel frame of the table has 200 holes drilled into it before being welded together. 1.5mm elastic is used to create a rainbow design, then it’s capped off with a large piece of glass. I can see a variety of customization options here from the arrangement of the strands to their color scheme. I can see lots of possibilities with this table from various strand arrangements to a variety of color combinations.
The Prism table is also a 2014 A’ Design Award Winner.
