During this year’s ICFF, Sindmóveis Bento Gonçalves (the Union of Furniture Industries of Bento Conclaves in southern Brazil) and Apex-Brasil (The Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) brought the Raiz Project, which is an initiative that focuses on promoting the work of Brazilian designers, to NYC to showcase the work. Along with the 13 designers from the Raiz Project, the Design na Pele (DNP) initiative featured another three designers who created special work that displays the innovative use of Brazilian leather.
